through a lot of his code and it is the type of stuff you see come out of engineers with many years more experience than
he has under his belt.

I've known Eliot for a few years, having attended church together. Eliot is not only of great moral character, but also a tenacious individual in the pursuit of his goals.
Eliot approached me wanting to learn about software development just a couple of years ago, and in a short time has learned far more about the topic than I came close to in my first two years — and all of this while just learning in his free time and also having a wife and children.
Eliot is and will continue to be a great contributor to society. He has a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a determination to accomplish whatever is in front of him.

I had the great pleasure of teaching Eliot at the Mississippi Coding Academy where I have been the night class instructor since the beginning of the year.
He is a fast learner, an inspiring student, and a helpful peer.
When we started working on group projects in class, Eliot was extremely helpful both in the questions
he asked and the actions he took, rolling his chair over to classmates (back when that was a thing) and
helping them along. He would then continue working on the project after class, planning out next steps,
finding which issues could help other students grow, and developing new questions for the next lecture.
Eliot is someone who is genuinely motivated to understand problems and help teams get to solutions.
